I love sheet masks and have always used a sheet mask two or three times a week, or basically whenever I had the time to do one. I had always stuck to that general routine. However, ever since I heard about the term #doublefisting I had always know that it had to be something to do with wine, and it was that you’re sipping on two glasses of wine instead of one. Isn’t that what you’re thinking too?
Apparently it’s a trend to use two sheet masks a day, versus using one or doing it every other day. I decided to put this to the test and try out two different sheet masks today since I had recently placed quite a large order from masksheets.com
For my morning routine I went with the Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Shea Butter sheet mask. I went with my basic skincare routine before opening it up. I wanted something that was hydrating and something that would soothe my dry patches around my nose that I usually get whenever it comes to the colder season so this was the perfect one. I had trouble getting it out of the packaging as you can see because I was afraid that I’ll ruin the mask itself but eventually I was able to open it up with no problem. It smelled amazing and was filled with essence but not quite as much as the Leaders Insolution Vita Brightening Renewal Mask that I tried out yesterday and reviewed on my blog. But it certainly is better than other sheet masks that I have tried out in the past. I left it on for twenty minutes and then took it off and rubbed the excess essence so that it can absorb into my skin and I noticed that my dry patches were gone and was smooth and visibly less noticeable. I went on and finished the rest of my skincare routine and went off with my day.
During the night, I went with the Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Black Berry instead of using the same sheet mask as before. I wanted to use a different mask to target a different area of my skin and this time it was to hopefully decrease my wrinkles. Earlier in the morning, I had trouble opening the sheet mask so this time I decided to be smart about and shook it until the sheet masks wasn’t near the opening but instead was at the other end. I opened it and it was the same cotton sheet as the previous one but this time with a different scent and different claims for the skin. After the twenty minutes had passed, I took my sheet mask off and didn’t really notice a difference other than that it’s hydrating and smoothing but I’m pretty sure if I were to use this for a long period of time I would notice something. Overall, I’m pleasantly pleased with these masks and would continue to repurchase these because I love that it makes my skin plump, glow, and hydrates the skin.
